Pichwai paintings are a form of traditional Indian art that originated in the town of Nathdwara in Rajasthan, India. The art is known for its intricate designs and vibrant colors.

Typically Pichwai paintings depict scenes from the life of Lord Krishna, including Radha, Gopis, his cows, and the painted lotus. The paintings are created using natural colors made from minerals and plant extracts and pure gold is also used in the paintings, and it can take 3-4 days to prepare the color.
