Earth, Sand & Fire: The Consequences

An exhibition titled 'Earth, Sand & Fire: The Consequences' is being held at Carpe Diem, Majorda. The exhibition showcases handcrafted glass and ceramic artworks artists Nandini Datta and Ramdas Gadekar who are trained professionals in their respective fields. On display are detailed porcelain figures of females and vases as well as Tiffany lamps and faces in glass casting, created by Datta who runs her own ceramic and glass studio in Goa. Gadekar, who manages the ceramic studio at Carpe Diem, brings to the exhibition his series on aquatic life as well as architectural aspects of Goa executed on handmade multipurpose ceramic plates that can be hung or fitted into a wall space. He is known for his skills in print-making, murals and hand-built pottery
