‘A Helping Hand', an art exhibition of works of some artists to raise funds in aid of Kerala was launched at Carpe Diem Art Gallery', Majorda. Filmmaker, Aditya Raj Kapoor inaugurated the art exhibition at Majorda. The exhibition will remain open till September 30.
A group of artists primarily from Goa and neighboring states had brought forth the idea of organising an art exhibition in aid of Kerala. All the revenue generated through the sale of these will be donated to the Chief Minister's Disaster Relief Fund set up by Kerala Chief Minister.
The artworks were priced reasonably, much below the value of the artworks in hope that art lovers and people would be more willing to invest in these works, knowing that the amount spent is being channelised towards a worthy cause
The artists who participated in the exhibition are Nandini Raikar, Damodar Madsaonkar, Meghan Salsaonkar, Tathi Premchand, Raj Bhandare, Piety'z D'Silva, Aparna Pradhan, Shweta Satardekar, Karishma D'Souza, Gajanand (Drupad Gaonkar), Vitesh Naik, Savia Viegas, Teamea Francisca, Philo Gonsalves, Divesh Gadekar, Norman Tagore Fernandes, Manjunaath Naik, Mohan Naik, Suhas Shilker, Shilpa Nasnolkar, Jyoti Mehta, Veenita Chendvankar, Ramdas Gadekar, Kausalya Gadekar, Irma Gerstenmaier, Nirupa Naik, Vas- ant Rao, Vatsala Kamat, Rubina Desouza, Vaishnavi Shankhwalkar, Swapnesh Vaisankar, David Fernandes Girish Gujae, Vrushali Metha, Bhagyajyoti Arjun Naik, Julius Rocha, Priti Gokani and Chetan Chodankar
