Bread and Belonging is a 50 minute English documentary on the Goan Pao and its legacy - an object that has been a source of food, identity and collective memory that defines Goa in many ways. The film also contains Konkani and Kannada with English subtitles.

Sonia was born and raised in Goa. She has worked as a producer on documentary films and television programming in Mumbai. She is a multi-medium creator and curator. Sonia divides her time between Mumbai and Goa.
